3 DAY UGANDA GORILLA TREK SAFARIS :-SAFARI TO MGAHINGA NATIONAL PARK.
The park is known to be covering some parts of Bwindi Impenetrable National park but in actual sense it is within the south western parts of Uganda next to Kisoro town bordering the Democratic Republic of Congo as well as Rwanda. Gazation of the park was in 1991 with the crater lake of Muhavura which is 4,127m high but the park itself covers a total area of 33.7 km sq. Thee park covers some volcanoes of Virunga like Sabyinyo, Muhabura and Gahinga they all lead to the park headquarters and good for Mt climbing.
DAY 1:-Depart from Kampala
The journey will start at 8:00 am after taking your break fast then take the southwest have a stop over at the equator and Mpambirwe drum makers before reaching Masaka then cross for refreshments and proceed to Mbarara. On your way you will be able to have a clear scenic of the plantations, grass land for extra costs you make to Lake Mburo but still you will have to see some animal in the park land after sanga feeding.
Proceed to Mbarara for Lunch at Agip Motel. Then proceed to Kisoro town up to the park ready for a dinner and over night at Mgahinga safari lodge.
DAY 2 :Gorilla trekking
Have early morning break fast.The ranger guide will have to brief you on does and don’t when trekking the gorillas. After breakfast drive to the trekking points. While trekking you will see the beauty of the rain forest is spectacular. The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but criss-crossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savoured. Then you got lunch traditionally prepared accompanied with refreshments. After lunch you will go for volcano climbing but you’re reminded to be physically fit in order to enjoy the volcanoes and his will cover Gahinga, Muhavura and Sabinyo. You may as well see animals like mountain gorillas, buffaloes, bush backs elephants, threatened golden monkeys and bird species the Rwenzori Turaco, Crowned hornbill, crowned crane, crowned horn bill and others. Then the driver guide will have to take you back to your places of accommodation for dinner and over night.
DAY 3 : Tour the Bafumbira,Return to Kampala
As a fact it obvious that you just do not to with out the lasting memories, you will there fore be provided with breakfast on top of that have a 2 hour visit to local people
(Batwa and Bufumbira) where you will see their ways and standards of living as well as entertainment. Then return to Kampala enroute lunch at Agip Motel in Mbarara town as you will be viewing the busiest places and some centres then continue to Kampala. Dinner will be at Grand Imperial Hotel in Entebbe where the guide will pick the next day for your flight.
Day 3:Bwindi gorilla trekking tour--
The fact that Bwindi is among the national parks in Uganda with the biggest species of endangered mountain gorillas you there for stand a chance to go for trekking early in he morning after heavy break fast. Day 7 -Stanley Plateau
