Day 1: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park,Equator Stop Over
One of our Professional driver guide will have to pick you from the place of accommodation after taking break fast and drive you to Mbarara, have a stop over at Mpambirwe drum makers take photos then continue to the equator, have refreshments and snacks then drives direct to Lake Mburo National Park. As you get into the park through Ssanga gate you will be able to see some zebras, gazing long honed cattle and other animals on the road side. Lunch will be served at Rwonyo or Mantana Tented Camp. The only activity you will go for after having lunch will b e the boat trip where diversity of plant and animal species will be seen like crocodiles, Hippos, species of birds like king fisher, heron, Black crake and many more. The other option in the evening will be the guided walks for those not interested in the boat trip. Then return to any accommodation of your choice for dinner and over night.
Day 2:Lake Mburo game drives
The game drives will periodically starts after break fast. While on the game drives you will see school of hippos, zebras, Impalas, Buffaloes, water bucks and other animal s as well as birds like e the crested cranes and the great shoe bill. After the game drive you will take some soft drinks and drive to Mbarara for lunch then continue to Bwindi.Over night at Kitandara Bwindi camp.
Day 3:Bwindi gorilla trekking tour
The fact that Bwindi is among the Uganda national parks with the biggest species of endangered mountain gorillas you there for stand a chance to go for trekking early in he morning after heavy break fast. Note There is no way you can go trekking before the gangers brief you on what to do and not to do. There for you have to be care full in as far as those rule s and regulations will be given to you. Then after trekking you will have to return to your place of accommodation. In the evening you will have nature walks to the fantastic hikes with different primates, bird species, and butterflies. Those interested in Buhoma will head for village walks at the same time. Then return late in the evening for an over night.
Day 4:Drive through Ishasha
Early morning drive to southern part of Ishasha ready to see the tree climbing lions in the fig trees, see Uganda kobs, Bufallo and Top. Have over night at Jacana.
Day 5: Forest walks to Imaramagambo
From Jacana you will head to the historic site of Imaramagambo where your guide will have to give you a flash back on the forest and as to why it was named Imararamagambo. As you get into the forest just a few metres you will come a cross a cave with thousands and thousands of bats (bat cave). These bats been there for years and years with in the cave are pythons feeding on the bats and next the cave is the blue lake. In the forest are a number of trails but you will need armed guards to take forest walks. You may be able to see the crater lakes, forest birds and chimpanzees. Return to Mweya for dinner and over night.
Day 6: Kyambura wildlife Reserve for Chimpazee trekking
A drive to the eastern part of Chambura Game Reserve in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The gorge is unique because of its nature and historical and geographical features .The gorge is 100m deep and 16 kms length, the activities are mostly chimpanzee trekking, however there are a lot of other attractions to see animals like , birds and other five members of the primates including white and black coloubus monkeys red tailed monkeys and blue monkeys. Then return to Mweya for refreshments then evening game drives and return for over night.
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth launch cruise
To catch the rising sun, break fast will be served as early as possible then head for game drives at 8:00 am covering a distance of 200 km. you will be provided access to the park game like Elephants here you should have it in mind that elephant are dangerous animal here fore when taking photos should not have flashes in your cameras. Other animals are herds of Uganda kobs, dangerous lions looking for what to eat, Buffalos. Then get back for lunch then after noon launch cruise a long Kazinga channel. While on the launch cruise you will see tremendous species of birds like the fish eagle, African skimmer, shoe bill the special future with these bird s compared to others is that they live in the holes and that is where there nests are built .Other animals like buffalos, elephants, crocodiles are seen a long side the channel resting. Drive to Fort portal for over night and dinner at Mountains of the moon.
Day 8: Chimpanzee Habituation in KFNP
Early morning drive to Kibale forest reserve for chimpanzee trekking. You may be chanced and see the chimps coming out of the next in the forest. See other mammals like bush elephants, bats, duikers, buffalos, Elephants, butter flies and a number of tree species with cultural attachment like the necked Adam and Eve tree which has futures like those human beings private. You will then take long distance walks in case you’re interested in adventure tours. Then see some of the diverse habitants of he parks as well as the local communities a round. Then spend your night at Ndali lodge.
Day 9: Hiking at the top of the falls
After taking your break fast from Ndali you will drive through the Rwenzori commodity tea plantations with a clear view of tea gardens as well as other plantations. Then to Masindi and get into Budongo forest for Chimpanzee trekking. Refreshments will be served at the River lodge of Sambiya. Then proceed for picnics on the top of the falls and return to red chilli camp for an over night as you plan for the next day.
Day 10: getting to the ferry on the Nile for game drives
Like you all know those animals are like human being in a sense that they keep on moving from one place to another. There for what may come into your mind here is waking up early to find the animals starting these movements. There fore you’re expected to cross the ferry by 6:00 and you will be able to see animals like herds of elephants, giraffes, antelopes, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, waterbucks, lions, and several bird species also the unusual saddle bill storks. Return for lunch late in the after noon. Then drive e back to Kampala after lunch at spent over night at Namirembe guest house or tourist hotel.
